Jim Cline – Guitar

In my 20s, I was heavily influenced by artists such as George Jones, Marty Robbins, and Merle Haggard. I started playing bass guitar with a country band called United Sounds, and after ten years, I got into rock and roll. My influences at that time were the Rolling Stones, Eagles, Santana, and CCR, but my heart remained in old country music.

I then played lead guitar full-time professionally in a fantastic band called Cook County. We played some original songs but mostly top-40 rock. I joined Escape in early 2014 and feel fortunate to work with this incredibly talented group of music lovers. We cover a wide range of genres to cater to everyone’s love of music.
